The New York Giants released wide receiver Darius Slayton on Monday, September 7, 2026.

ESPN's Monday NFL transactions list the move as a release. ESPN's Jordan Raanan first reported the cut, noting Slayton was the longest-tenured player on the roster, had slipped near the bottom of the depth chart, and was set to make $13 million this season.

Slayton had made the club's initial 53-man roster for 2026. The Giants open at home against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, September 13.
