The Atlanta Braves beat the Philadelphia Phillies 5-2 on Friday night at Citizens Bank Park to open a four-game National League East series.

Mauricio Dubón's two-run homer in the eighth sealed it. Ronald Acuña Jr. had three hits. Chris Sale worked six innings for the win, and Raisel Iglesias finished the ninth for the save. Alec Bohm's solo shot in the fourth pulled Philadelphia within one, but Atlanta held on.

Final score: Braves 5, Phillies 2. Atlanta moved to 84-57; Philadelphia sat at 79-62 after the loss.
