Six cities pitch for the next MLB expansion teams

The expansion board is unofficial, but the pitches are real.

Jeff Passan argues that once the Rays and A's stadium situations are settled, MLB has a clearer runway for expansion after the lockout. His Sept. 8 Sources Tell Jeff Passan episode puts six cities on the record: Salt Lake City, Montreal, Nashville, Orlando, Raleigh, and Portland.

Each market gets a block: Salt Lake City at 2:20, Montreal at 12:00, Nashville at 24:00, Orlando at 36:09, Raleigh at 47:43, Portland at 59:03.
