Shay Whitcomb walked off the Cardinals in the 11th as the Giants won 5-4

Nate Furman scored the winner at Oracle Park after Bryce Eldridge had tied it in the 10th.

The San Francisco Giants beat the St. Louis Cardinals 5-4 in 11 innings on Monday night, September 7, 2026, at Oracle Park.

Shay Whitcomb singled to shortstop in the bottom of the 11th and Nate Furman scored the walk-off run. Jason Foley earned the win (3-1) with two scoreless innings. George Soriano took the loss.

San Francisco led 3-0 on RBIs from Rafael Devers and Bryce Eldridge (Eldridge finished with three RBIs). St. Louis tied it in the ninth on José Fermín's sacrifice fly, then took a 4-3 lead in the 10th on Leo Bernal's RBI single. Eldridge answered immediately with a game-tying single that scored Turner Hill. Alec Burleson had cut the early deficit with a solo home run into McCovey Cove (his 22nd) in the sixth. Logan Webb struck out eight over six innings.
