WNBA: 2026 All-WNBA Second Team

  • Shakira Austin, Washington Mystics
  • Paige Bueckers, Dallas Wings
  • Rhyne Howard, Atlanta Dream
  • Angel Reese, Atlanta Dream
  • Jackie Young, Las Vegas Aces

Reese, Howard and Austin are first-time All-WNBA picks. Reese led the league in rebounding and was one of two players to average a double-double, and Austin was fourth in rebounding in what ESPN called a career year. Young made the second team for the third time and Bueckers for the second. Bueckers finished fifth in scoring and eighth in assists, and Young was 10th in scoring and fifth in assists.

Why the timing stands out

Two of the second-teamers are still playing. Reese and Howard's Dream host the Golden State Valkyries in Game 4 of the WNBA Finals on Saturday at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

The Fever got two first-team spots in the same week the franchise moved on from its front office. Kelly Krauskopf stepped down as president and the team fired general manager Amber Cox on Friday, so Clark and Mitchell's honors land while Indiana looks for new leadership. Mitchell's next contract is one of the first things that group will face.
