Rashee Rice misses another practice as Chiefs prepare for Seattle

Andy Reid’s Wednesday update also leaves right tackle Jaylon Moore out with a concussion.

Rashee Rice will remain out of Chiefs practice Wednesday because of his hamstring injury, head coach Andy Reid said as Kansas City began preparations for Sunday's game at Seattle.

Right tackle Jaylon Moore also will not practice because of a concussion. Reid said Josh Ezeudu had done a good job filling in for Moore, according to Pete Sweeney's report from Wednesday's availability.

Rice injured his hamstring during the first quarter of Kansas City's Week 4 win at Las Vegas. He has not returned to practice since, including after the Chiefs' Week 5 bye, RotoWire reported, citing ESPN's Nate Taylor.

The receiver missed Sunday's game against the Chargers. Kansas City is now assessing whether he can return to drills later this week before deciding his availability against the Seahawks. Wednesday's missed session does not establish a final game status.

Rice has 13 catches for 190 yards and one touchdown in the 2026 season, according to his current Chiefs player page. The remaining practices will provide the next indication of whether he can return to the receiving rotation.
