The flyover contains no gameplay or commentary, as Hosel Rocket Golf makes clear in the description. It can show the shape of a hole and the scenery around it, but it supplies no evidence about shot tracking, putting response or how an individual launch monitor performs. Those questions need a golfer hitting shots in the software.
The real Cape Kidnappers was designed by Tom Doak and opened in 2004. Rosewood’s course fact sheet describes a routing along cliffs above Hawke’s Bay, together with inland holes crossing ridges and valleys. That is useful context for the setting the simulator creator identifies. The video’s description of an inspired course does not establish a licensed or exact reproduction of the real layout.
The Kiama round has a different pace. The opening screen identifies a test course, then the golfer works through tee shots, approaches and putts from the hitting bay. Trees and rough frame many of the shots. Instead of an uninterrupted aerial view, the viewer sees a club swung and the ball’s result on the screen.
