Ohio State’s trip to Indiana and Notre Dame’s visit to BYU bookend Saturday’s college football schedule, with a rescheduled American League Championship Series game arriving in the middle of the prime-time window. The LPGA’s final round in Shanghai carries the viewing day into early Sunday morning.
All times below are Eastern for Saturday, October 17.
Noon: Ohio State at Indiana on FOX
Indiana takes a 6-0 record into a meeting with 5-1 Ohio State in Bloomington. Both teams are 3-0 in the Big Ten, and Indiana’s official game notes describe this as the first top-five matchup played at Memorial Stadium.
Their last meeting gives the game an immediate point of reference: Indiana beat Ohio State 13-10 in the 2025 Big Ten championship game. FOX also brings its Big Noon Kickoff pregame show to Bloomington. The Buckeyes are returning to a campus where they won 23-3 on their previous visit in 2023.
The noon alternatives include Florida at Texas on ABC and Mississippi State at LSU on ESPN. The Bulldogs’ quarterback Kamario Taylor and leading rusher Fluff Bothwell were downgraded to doubtful Friday, leaving their availability unresolved before kickoff.
3:30 p.m.: Alabama at Tennessee on ABC
Alabama-Tennessee leads a busy afternoon across the SEC. Auburn visits Georgia on ESPN at the same time, while Missouri plays at Ole Miss on SEC Network. Arizona State’s trip to Texas Tech gives FOX another option outside that group.
Florida State at Miami follows at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
7:30 p.m.: Notre Dame at BYU on ABC
Notre Dame arrives at 6-0, with BYU 5-0. The Cougars host at LaVell Edwards Stadium, where the local kickoff is 5:30 p.m. Mountain. ESPN’s College GameDay also originates from Provo Saturday morning, beginning at 9 a.m. Eastern.
