No. 17 Washington beat Washington State 24-10 in the Boeing Apple Cup on Sunday.
It was the 118th meeting in the rivalry. Demond Williams Jr. threw for 268 yards, scored on a 5-yard run, and threw a 1-yard touchdown to Rashid Williams. Jayden Limar added an 11-yard touchdown run. Tyler Robles kicked a 48-yard field goal.
Washington’s defense forced three turnovers. Washington State went 0-for-9 on third down. Caden Pinnick scored on an 11-yard run for the Cougars. Jack Stevens made a 42-yard field goal.
