Brooklyn wins 124-90, New Orleans rallies past Oklahoma City 116-110, Denver beats Utah 117-106 and Golden State tops the Lakers 124-98.

Brooklyn opened its preseason with a 124-90 win at Charlotte, while New Orleans recovered from a 15-point halftime deficit to beat Oklahoma City 116-110 in Tulsa on Tuesday. Denver subsequently beat Utah 117-106, and Golden State defeated the Lakers 124-98 to complete the NBA’s four-game October 6 slate.

The margin developed after a competitive first half. Brooklyn led 56-52 at the break, then outscored Charlotte 36-21 in the third quarter. NetsDaily’s Lucas Kaplan reported that Day’Ron Sharpe was the only Brooklyn starter to play after halftime, leaving much of the second-half work to the reserves.
