The finish followed several changes of control. Dallas led 10-0 in the first quarter after Aubrey's opening field goal and a two-yard Javonte Williams touchdown run. Derrick Henry scored from four and three yards as Baltimore put up 17 consecutive points and took a 17-13 halftime lead. Henry finished with 89 yards on 26 carries and two touchdowns. Jackson completed 15 of 20 passes for 186 yards, two scores and no interceptions, and added 50 rushing yards.
Baltimore stretched its lead to 24-13 on Jackson's four-yard pass to Chris Moore in the third quarter. Dak Prescott answered with a 19-yard touchdown pass to Jake Ferguson and a two-point pass to CeeDee Lamb. The Cowboys then stopped Henry on fourth-and-goal at their 1 before covering 96 yards for the go-ahead score, a nine-yard KaVontae Turpin run with 9:42 remaining. Dallas's game-day play tracker documents the stop, Lamb's 49-yard catch on that drive and Turpin's score.
Jackson found rookie tight end Matthew Hibner for a two-yard touchdown at 1:30, giving Baltimore a 31-28 lead. Prescott still moved Dallas into position for Aubrey's tying kick. He finished 25 of 40 for 276 yards and one touchdown. Lamb caught seven passes for 112 yards, and Williams ran for 98 yards on 19 carries. The ESPN box score shows how much Dallas generated despite the loss.
The Ravens leave the NFL's first regular-season game in Rio at 2-1; Dallas falls to 1-2. The Cowboys had recovered from an 11-point third-quarter deficit and reached the Baltimore 2 in the final half-minute. Their last score left the Ravens one play and one timeout to set up Loop, and Baltimore used both.
