The Ravens activated Ja'Kobi Lane from injured reserve Saturday after the wrist injury that cost him four games. The rookie receiver rejoins Baltimore before Sunday's game at Cleveland, where Tyler Huntley will start again with Lamar Jackson out.
The team announced the activation Saturday afternoon. Lane completed a full week of practice, but Baltimore has not announced his snap count.
Baltimore also signed linebacker Carl Jones Jr. to the 53-man roster and elevated offensive tackle Chuma Edoga and guard Kyle Hergel from the practice squad. Guards Andrew Vorhees and Emery Jones Jr. remain questionable. Center Cam Jurgens, tight end Matt Hibner and defensive tackle Broderick Washington were ruled out Friday, while Trey Hendrickson was cleared to return.
Earlier reporting
The Ravens got Ja’Kobi Lane through a full practice Wednesday, giving their receiving group a concrete recovery update after the rookie missed four games with a wrist injury. Baltimore’s first official report before Sunday’s game at Cleveland lists the rookie receiver as a full participant, moving his recovery beyond the eligibility to return discussed earlier in the week.
Lane injured his wrist in the season opener at Indianapolis and went on injured reserve in September. The Ravens released veteran receiver Chris Moore on Tuesday, when Lane’s possible return was still part of the roster outlook.
