The Ravens controlled the first half and had little to show for it. They held the ball for 22:20 before halftime, according to the Associated Press, and Tyler Huntley threw for 215 yards in the half, 120 of them to Zay Flowers. Flowers opened the scoring with a 48-yard catch-and-run. The Ravens' best answer died on fourth-and-2 at the Cincinnati 12, when Huntley threw incomplete. The Bengals drove 88 yards the other way, and Samaje Perine's 1-yard run made it 21-13. Burrow added a 2-yard touchdown to Ja'Marr Chase and a 16-yarder to Drew Sample about a minute apart. Joe Flacco, the former Ravens quarterback, finished the game for Cincinnati.
