His postseason has been shorter. Misiorowski's first pitch of Game 1 of the NL Division Series against San Diego was clocked at 104.8 mph, the fastest postseason pitch since tracking began in 2008, MLB.com reported. But the Padres fouled off 30 pitches in the first four innings and he was out before the fifth at 88 pitches. In Game 1 of the NLCS, the Dodgers saw 94 pitches from him in 4 1/3 innings, and he allowed one run. Because Milwaukee swept Los Angeles, he will have had 11 days between starts.
Tampa Bay had not named its starter, but ace Drew Rasmussen lines up to pitch on normal rest, CBS Sports and MLB.com both reported. Rasmussen is 11-0 with a 1.73 ERA in 15 starts since the All-Star break, and he started Game 1 of both the ALDS and ALCS. Milwaukee drafted him and later traded him to the Rays in the deal for Willy Adames. MLB.com expects ALCS MVP Freddy Peralta, another former Brewer, to start Game 2 on normal rest.
