Check the connection before the graphics
Burdie lists a ProTee VX as the launch monitor used in the video. That test setup needs to be distinguished from IT Golf's official compatibility list.
The company's current pricing page names Nova by Open Launch, Spectrum Golf Technologies, VTrack and Bullseye Golf Sims as officially supported hardware. It says third-party connectors built with its open API exist but are not officially supported. A successful creator demonstration therefore does not establish manufacturer support for every monitor connected through a community tool.
IT Golf still labels Infinite Tees early access or beta. Its live pricing page lists $19.99 monthly or $199 annually, including courses, a driving range with shot analysis, course-building tools, local multiplayer and updates. The home page offers a ten-day trial without a credit card.
The published system requirements are an Nvidia RTX 3070 or equivalent, 16GB of RAM, 10GB of free storage and a stable internet connection. Burdie's own test uses an RTX 5070, and he identifies the video presentation as 1080p. It is not a benchmark for another PC's 4K performance.
Earlier testing leaves useful questions
Golf Simulator Videos' October 14 early-access review found the largest green-firmness differences on chips from rough, with smaller differences on full approaches. Jay Lasco wanted more separation between soft and firm greens and a larger speed penalty from bunkers. Those are the reviewer's findings and requested changes, rather than settled measurements of accuracy. The original video is included below. At 22:23, Lasco demonstrates the separate touchscreen controls; from 31:11, he tests chips from rough while changing green firmness. He used an early build supplied by IT Golf and says near the end that the public release was planned for Friday. That statement describes the plan at recording, rather than verifying which build is available today.
Burdie's newer test offers another look at the revised practice experience. Tournaments remain marked as coming soon in his walkthrough; the current demonstration should not be read as a tournament launch.
