Dallas opens 2026-27 at Houston on Oct. 21, then hosts the Spurs

The NBA released the full 2026-27 schedule Aug. 13. Dallas opens Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Houston at 7:30 p.m. CT, the first road opener since 2023-24. The Mavericks visit Indiana on Oct. 23, then host San Antonio on Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. CT for the home opener, the third straight year the Spurs have opened AAC.

October also includes Miami on the road (Oct. 26), Oklahoma City at home on ESPN (Oct. 28, 8:30 p.m. CT), and Houston again Oct. 30. Dallas plays three of its first four and 10 of its last 15 on the road. Last year's home opener was a 125-92 Spurs win.
