Dallas matched the Knicks' two-year, $4.7 million offer sheet for Moussa Cisse

The Mavericks matched the same day Cisse signed with New York, well before the 48-hour deadline.

Restricted free agent Moussa Cisse signed a Knicks offer sheet on July 18, 2026, for two years and $4.7 million with the first year half-guaranteed. Dallas matched the same day, well before the 48-hour deadline, and he cannot be traded without his consent for one year, and not to New York.

Cisse, undrafted out of Memphis in 2025, averaged 4.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in just under 14 minutes across 38 games. He cleared the first guarantee date Sept. 1, locking $1.1 million of $2.185 million; the rest guarantees Oct. 1 if he is not waived. The official signing log lists July 22.
