Dallas acquired Zaccharie Risacher from Atlanta in a three-team deal

The Mavericks acquired Zaccharie Risacher, the 2024 first overall pick, from the Hawks on July 19, 2026, in a three-team deal with Oklahoma City. Dallas sent Ryan Nembhard to Atlanta and a 2027 second via Chicago toward OKC as Lu Dort went to Atlanta. Dallas also received a top-55-protected 2027 second from Atlanta.

Dallas used the Anthony Davis trade exception of about $20.8 million to absorb Risacher's $13.8 million salary. The last two years of his deal are team options. Through 142 Hawks games he averaged about 11 points in 24 minutes with a 35% career three-point mark. At 21, he joins Cooper Flagg and Kyrie Irving as former No. 1 overall picks on the same roster.
