Mallory’s return adds a receiving option at tight end while Tyler Warren remains questionable with the groin injury he suffered in Friday’s practice. Mallory has 23 catches for 252 yards in 24 career games for Indianapolis; the club placed him on injured reserve August 30.
The activation does not settle Warren’s game status. Jaylon Carlies and Ashton Dulin remain out under Friday’s report.

Warren had not appeared on the first two practice reports this week, NBC Sports' Josh Alper reported. His late addition gives Indianapolis another decision at tight end: Will Mallory is questionable with a thumb injury despite practicing fully all week.
Shane Steichen had already ruled linebacker Jaylon Carlies and receiver Ashton Dulin out Friday. Carlies has a rib injury and Dulin a hamstring injury; both also missed last week's game against Pittsburgh.
