Slayton arrives after seven seasons with the Giants, 106 games and 4,435 career receiving yards. He had 37 catches for 538 yards and a touchdown in 2025. The Colts' official player page lists him as signed on Sept. 22, and the club's transaction release says he joins a receiver room that recently lost Alec Pierce to a heel injury expected to cost several weeks. Slayton is therefore a more direct waiver consideration than a generic practice-squad addition, though his exact snap share is not announced.
Clemons has appeared in two games for Indianapolis this season. The official release lists 67 career games, 24 starts and 8.5 sacks, combining his Colts and Jets work. His move to IR takes away a rotational edge presence, but Indianapolis has not published a replacement plan. Managers in IDP leagues should wait for practice participation and game packages before elevating a backup.
