Update — October 15, 2026: Alabama lists Ryan Coleman-Williams and Terrance Green as out for Saturday’s Tennessee game on the SEC’s initial availability report, posted Wednesday, October 14. Racin Delgatty is questionable and Justin Hill is probable. Tennessee quarterback Faizon Brandon is also listed as questionable. Those are the current game-status designations; they replace the earlier uncertainty described below without establishing a longer-term return timetable.
The SEC report places the October 17 game in Knoxville at 2:30 p.m. Central, or 3:30 p.m. Eastern. Coleman-Williams leads Alabama with 415 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns, according to ESPN’s Wednesday report.
Earlier reporting — October 12, 2026
Alabama is preparing for Tennessee with Ryan Coleman-Williams unlikely to play. Coach Kalen DeBoer said Monday that the receiver is dealing with knee and head issues, and he expects his availability to remain a week-to-week question after this weekend.
The update follows Alabama's 20-17 loss to Georgia. Coleman-Williams left the field twice during that game, returning after the first incident before exiting again in the second half. DeBoer's Monday comments describe an expected absence, rather than a confirmed return date.
WBRC reported that Coleman-Williams has 23 receptions and 415 receiving yards through six games, including three catches for 39 yards against Georgia. Losing that production would leave Alabama without one of its leading pass-catchers for the trip to Knoxville.
