ChatGPT Sites can be shared with named viewers without making them public

Site owners can invite people to view a Site, with workspace controls governing external access.

ChatGPT Site owners can share a Site with named people without publishing it to the open web. OpenAI’s Sites documentation describes inviting an external viewer through the Site’s sharing controls.

An invitation grants viewing access to that Site. It does not make the recipient a workspace member or allow them to edit or publish it. Enterprise workspaces must permit external invitations, and availability can depend on rollout and the surface in use.

Owners can review and remove viewers in the access list, while checking whether any separate public or workspace-wide audience remains enabled.
