Bulls open 2026-27 in Toronto before returning for United Center opener

Chicago starts the regular season on the road Oct. 21, then hosts Washington three nights later in its first home game.

The Bulls will begin the 2026-27 regular season away from Chicago. The team's official schedule sends it to Toronto on Wednesday, Oct. 21, followed by a Friday trip to Milwaukee and the United Center opener against Washington on Saturday, Oct. 24.

The home opener brings Anthony Davis, Trae Young and No. 1 overall pick AJ Dybantsa to Chicago, according to the Bulls' schedule announcement. Chicago then visits Boston on Oct. 26 before hosting the Knicks on Oct. 28.

The schedule gives the Bulls a quick test of the roster's new shape. NBA.com lists Nic Claxton and Norman Powell among the team's 2026 additions, while the current group also includes young players such as Matas Buzelis, Noa Essengue and the 2026 first-round picks Caleb Wilson and Dailyn Swain.

Training camp does not open until Sept. 29 for most NBA teams, so the schedule is an early marker for a Bulls group still being assembled around a new coaching staff led by Tiago Splitter.
