Boston acquired JJ Peterka from Utah in June. As camp approaches, the winger has more than a new sweater to get used to.

Jack Studley's September 2 report for Boston Hockey Now details the connections Peterka expects to help him settle in: German-speaking coach Marco Sturm, teammate Lukas Reichel and assistant Matt McIlvane, who coached him in Salzburg. He also knows Casey Mittelstadt from Buffalo.

Peterka has expressed interest in playing alongside David Pastrnak. Where he fits is a camp question, but his familiarity with parts of the roster and staff gives fans a reason to follow those early combinations.
