Sugar Ray will headline Longhorn City Limits on the LBJ Lawn before Texas plays UTSA on September 19, according to Texas Athletics’ September 16 announcement. Flight By Nothing is also scheduled to perform. The concert series is presented by Hollister, and the university says admission is free.
The published schedule has the lawn opening at 2 p.m. Central, Flight By Nothing taking the stage at 3:30 p.m., and Sugar Ray performing at approximately 5 p.m. That places the headline set ahead of the football game’s 7 p.m. kickoff at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium.
Flight By Nothing formed outside Dallas in 2016 before moving to Austin. Sugar Ray’s catalog includes the late-1990s and early-2000s hits that made the band a familiar radio presence. Anyone combining the concert with stadium plans should use the university’s event announcement for updates.
